To say EQRA is enthusiastic about the prospect of improvements to Burgess Park is an understatement. 

This month is positively your last chance to comment on / learn about the grand Masterplan for Burgess Park.

EQRA is fighting tirelessly for improved transport links into town. Boris’ attitude thus far (read City Hall’s latest response ) to transport in North Peckham has been sorely disappointing, and shows ignorance of the problems faced by residents. But we haven’t stopped raising the issue with City Hall.

Yesterday saw the opening of the Peckham Space art project in the centre of Peckham.

Well, ok, not earth-shattering change for a better society – but a few simple, local changes to make life easier.

Despite less than ideal conditions (ie. rain and wind) EQRA had a successful bulb planting event on 20 March in Calypso Gardens.

Saturday 23rd January saw the 3rd EQRA AGM pass successfully. A new committee was elected, and we heard the latest news about the Burgess Park renovation plans from Rebecca.

This year’s Christmas party (generously paid for by a grant from the Capital Community Foundation) is at the Grand Union Bar in Camberwell on 5th December.
