The new Café at Chumleigh Gardens is now open. It’s situated next to the new children’s playground, has outdoor seating (on warm days!), and looks very inviting.

Further to the latest round of public consultations, the designs for the park have been revised and priorities for the first phase of redesign finalised.

To say EQRA is enthusiastic about the prospect of improvements to Burgess Park is an understatement. 

This month is positively your last chance to comment on / learn about the grand Masterplan for Burgess Park.

Our local councillor for Peckham, Barrie Hargrove (now Cabinet member responsible for the environment), has responded to concerns recently raised about the Burgess Park Masterplan proposals. Saturday 23rd January saw the 3rd EQRA AGM pass successfully. A new committee was elected, and we heard the latest news about the Burgess Park renovation plans from Rebecca.

LDA Design have been awarded the contract to undertake the renovations to Burgess Park using the funds won through the Mayor’s ‘Help a London Park’ Competition.
