The Friends of Burgess Park are teaming up with Peckham & Nunhead Free Film Festivals for an outdoor screening of Bram Stoker’s 1931 film “Dracula”. The show starts at 8:30pm, outside the sports centre off Coburg Road (near the lake). The film has a “U” certificate and is therefore suitable for all ages. Even better, admission is free, and there are prizes for people who dress up in Dracula costume! All you need to bring is a blanket or chair if you want something to sit on.
The weather forecast for Friday currently looks to be dry. For the latest updates, go to the BBC Weather website here.
Don’t forget that we will be hosting a free film screening, also in conjunction with Peckham & Nunhead Free Film Festival, in Calypso Gardens on Friday 21st September – watch this space!
