Predator prowls North PECK-ham

The Evolution Quarter had an unusual feathered visitor at the weekend.  We’re quite used to seeing crows, magpies, pigeons, blackbirds, starlings and smaller birds such as tits and finches here in North Peckham.  On Sunday morning, however, we spotted a bird of prey on a back garden fence, making a meal of a smaller bird it had caught.

We think the predator is a sparrowhawk, unless somebody knows different?
