As you can see from the picture, it’s a single storey design and incorporates many environmentally friendly features including a ‘living roof’.
The school contains specially designed sensory areas to help accommodate the pupils, many of whom will will have multiple and profound learning difficulties. There will be space for 90 pupils at the school which aims to be open September 2010.
